This Far By Faith: The 2026 DeLUXE Show

You are warmly invited to the opening of This Far By Faith, this year’s DeLUXE Show at the Historic DeLUXE Theater.

This special exhibition marks a year of milestones as we celebrate 100 years of Black History Month, 160 years of the Fifth Ward community, and 10 years since the reopening of the DeLUXE Theater. Inspired by the original 1971 DeLUXE Show, this exhibition honors the legacy, creativity, and faith that carries our community forward.

The exhibition brings together an intergenerational group of artists whose works have shaped and continue to shape the visual language of Black life, including: featured artist Abidemi Olowonira, Ann Johnson, Shawn Artis, Romeo Robinson, Bert Samples, John Biggers, Robert Pruitt, Crystal Coulter, Delita Martin, Melvin Edwards, Earlie Hudnall Jr., Elizabeth Catlett.

Spanning painting, printmaking, sculpture, photography, and mixed media, the exhibition offers audiences a rich encounter with Black artistic production across time.
